  • Ensuring, maintaining, and continuously developing the IT-related internal control system (ICS)
  • Development and implementation of an internal control system to ensure compliance with GoBD within New Yorker IT for accounting-relevant systems
  • Coordination and further development of IT risk management
  • Coordination and control of IT activities within the framework of external as well as internal audits
  • Creation of internal guidelines and operating instructions, introduction and further development of the policy framework
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of IT controls to identify and minimize risks at an early stage
  • Development and introduction of global frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in IT, taking into account local and regional requirements
  • Development and implementation of measures to improve IT compliance implementation in all areas of New Yorker IT
  • Consulting and close cooperation with the IT specialist teams to successfully ensure the implementation of (IT) compliance requirements
  • Monitoring relevant legal developments and assessing possible impacts on New Yorker IT, including deriving necessary measures
  • Answering IT-relevant questions regarding IT compliance (internal compliance, AI Act, NIS2, export control, GoBD)
  • Participation in certifications (e.g., PCI-DSS, fiscalization)
  • Analysis and evaluation of new tools and applications from regulatory perspectives as well as creation of recommendations for action

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

You have a completed degree in business law, law, business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification. You bring relevant professional experience in auditing, compliance consulting, or information technology with a focus on compliance. You possess profound knowledge of IT processes, architectures, and applications, as well as in IT project management and IT strategies. You have good knowledge of standards and regulations in the IT environment (e.g., ISO standards, GoBD, NIS2, GDPR, ITIL, COBIT, AI Act, DSA/DMA, eIDAS, PRINCE2 / PMBOK, etc.). Knowledge in commercial, tax, or IT law is desirable. You appear confident when dealing with internal and external contact persons. Your personality is characterized by integrity, loyalty, and the ability to change perspectives flexibly. You have very good written and spoken English skills.
