New York News is a fast-paced, engaging and locally owned and operated convenience store located in the heart of the Niagara Falls tourist district. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to fulfill the role of a cashier at this fast paced tourist convenience store.
Duties will include:
-Processing purchases in a timely fashion
-Lottery and Tobacco Sales
-Beer and Wine Sales (Smart Serve Certificate is required)
-Handling of food (Food Handler Certificate is preferred)
-Stocking Shelves
-Greeting customers and offering assistance when necessary
-Maintaining a clean store environment
Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time
Job Hours: 24-32 hours per week
Salary: $17.60 per hour

- Prior experience working at a convenience store (strong asset)
License/Certification:
- Drivers License (preferable)
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
