Basic Technology Teacher

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Basic Technology lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach technical drawing, materials, tools, machines, safety, and basic technology concepts. Conduct practical demonstrations and activities. Teach students proper and safe use of tools and equipment. Prepare assignments, tests, and examination materials. Assess students’ theoretical and practical knowledge. Maintain appropriate classroom and workshop safety standards. Support students in developing practical problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/HND in Technology Education, Engineering, Technical Education, or a related field. Strong understanding of the secondary-school Basic Technology curriculum. Practical knowledge of tools, materials, and technical processes. Teaching experience is an advantage. Strong classroom-management and communication skills. Ability to supervise practical activities safely.
