Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical workshops for undergraduate and diploma students across core hospitality and tourism modules .
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Incorporate digital tools and sustainable hospitality practices into teaching.
- Prepare, invigilate, mark, and provide feedback on examinations and assignments.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students.
- Supervise students’ internships, industry projects, and research papers .
- Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and academic records.
- Participate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, orientations, open days, and other school activities.
- Work with Academic and Operations teams to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance .
- Provide additional academic support and undertake other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education, private education institutions, or polytechnic settings.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Relevant hospitality, hotel, or tourism industry experience is an advantage.
