As a Frontend Development Engineer, do you wish to contribute to the new generation of applications developed by Dassault Systèmes?

Within an R&D team in charge of internal information systems, you will contribute to the evolution of a platform used throughout the software development lifecycle: requirements and specification management, code delivery, traceability, anomaly tracking, product quality, and portfolio management.

You will participate more specifically in the development of the new generation of the user interface for this information system, with a focus on applications dedicated to the management of Dassault Systèmes' artificial intelligence products within the framework of Gen7.

Your missions Within the team, you will contribute to the development and evolution of the user interfaces of our applications.

In this capacity, you will be required to Develop new frontend components and features.

• Analyze user needs and contribute to the definition of features to be covered in the interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate the necessary features and services.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the development environment and practices.
• Take part in code reviews and technical exchanges with other developers.
• Collaborate with quality teams to contribute to the reliability of applications.
• Understand and apply the team's software development processes and best practices.
• Participate in exchanges with the user community to better understand their usage and needs.
• Use and explore development tools integrating artificial intelligence capabilities.
• Work in connection with a UI/UX expert to contribute to the design of intuitive interfaces adapted to user needs.

You will evolve in a varied technical environment, within the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem, including notably Cloud environments, development tools, and solutions dedicated to software quality.

Your qualifications Graduate with a BAC+5, engineering school or University Master's, in computer science, software development, or a related field. First experience in frontend development, acquired through an internship, apprenticeship, academic projects, personal projects, or a first professional experience.

Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. First experience with a frontend framework such as Vue.js or React. Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices. Knowledge of communication principles between applications, notably via REST APIs. Interest in interface design and user experience. Curiosity, desire to learn, and interest in evolving technological environments. Taste for teamwork and collaboration with stakeholders of varied expertise. Professional English level allowing for evolution in an international environment.

Would be a plus: First experience with Vue.js. Knowledge of software architecture or design patterns. An interest in artificial intelligence-assisted development tools. Sensitivity to UI/UX topics and understanding user usage.
