Do you want to work on autonomous robotics systems that can orient themselves reliably even in complex environments? In this position, you will develop algorithms for sensor fusion, localization, and state estimation and contribute to implementing robust navigation solutions for modern autonomous platforms.

As a Senior Development Engineer (m/f/d) - Sensor Fusion & Localization, you will undertake the following tasks with us:

  • You develop and optimize algorithms for sensor fusion, localization, and state estimation for autonomous systems.
  • You work with sensor data from cameras, LiDAR, radar, IMUs, and other sensor systems and ensure their reliable processing.
  • You implement and improve methods such as EKF, UKF, or SLAM for navigation and environmental perception.
  • You test and validate your solutions both in simulations and under real operating conditions.
  • You analyze complex system errors and support the further development of robust navigation and localization systems.

Your qualifications:

  • A completed degree in the field of robotics, electrical engineering, computer vision, or a comparable discipline
  • Experience in the development of complex robotics or sensor systems
  • Knowledge in sensor fusion, state estimation, and localization methods such as EKF, UKF, or SLAM
  • Experience with ROS2 as well as ideally with simulation environments and modern software development processes
  • Good development skills in C++ as well as good English skills

Our offer for you:

  • Development of algorithms for sensor fusion, localization, and state estimation
  • Work with sensor data from different sensor systems
  • Tests and validations in simulations as well as under real operating conditions
  • Collaboration with adjacent development areas
