Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility, leadership, and further development of the Shopfloor Lean Development department.
- Industrialization of new products in consideration of Lean principles together with the team.
- Ensuring ROI for investments related to the field of material flow, Line Design, etc. Participation in the introduction of new products; focus on all industrial processes along the internal Supply Chain (Goods Receipt-Production-Shipping).
- Optimization of industrial performance (lead times, productivity, ...) in cooperation with Assembly, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials Management, Purchasing, Design, Occupational Safety, … along the entire internal Supply Chain.
- Plant layout design to ensure an optimized and coordinated Supply Chain.
- Local long-term management of capacities and identification of bottlenecks as a basis for an LTIP (Long Term Industrial Plan).
- Implementation of KPIs along the internal SC.
- Monitoring and challenging the Supply Chain KPIs.
- Design and optimization of manufacturing, storage, and MPH (Material Providing and Handling) processes.
- Methodological and cultural further development of the team.
- Support in the cultural further development and anchoring of Neugart values along the Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Completed studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in Operational Excellence, Industrialization, Industrial Engineering, or Production.
- Experience in the leadership and implementation of industrialization and improvement projects.
- Leadership experience as well as competence in the further development of teams and organizations.
- Good knowledge of production systems, Lean/KVP methods, and performance control (KPI) as well as a fundamental understanding of digitalization in the production environment (e.g., MES).
- Entrepreneurial thinking, cross-functional way of working, and high implementation strength.
- Analytical and structured approach as well as a confident appearance, communication, and assertiveness.
- Very good English skills in spoken and written form.
