Technical Writer

Netline, a defense high-tech company located in Azrieli Tel Aviv that develops, manufactures, and markets electronic defense systems for security entities in Israel and abroad, is looking for a Technical Writer!

The role includes the preparation, writing, and updating of technical documents for the company's products, with an emphasis on User Manuals and Assembly Instructions, while working with professional interfaces in the fields of engineering, development, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Writing, editing, and maintaining User Manuals and Assembly Instructions in English.
• Preparing assembly instructions and assembly files for the company's products.
• Producing illustrations, photos, diagrams, and drawings to visualize assembly and operation processes.
• Using CAD systems for viewing, understanding, and extracting engineering information and preparing assembly documentation.
• Working with drawings, 3D models, BOM, and engineering documents.
• Collecting information from engineers and manufacturing personnel and converting it into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documents.
• Performing updates to documents in accordance with engineering changes and ECO processes.
• Working in accordance with quality, configuration, and document control requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of previous experience in technical writing/technical documentation - Mandatory.
• Very high level of English – fluent and precise technical writing - Mandatory.
• Excellent ability to understand engineering information and convert it into clear and organized work instructions - Mandatory.
• Experience in reading drawings and engineering documents - Mandatory.
• Knowledge and experience in CAD for working with models and assemblies and producing material for assembly files.
• Good proficiency in Office, with an emphasis on Word and VISIO - Mandatory.
• Familiarity with RF technologies - a significant advantage.
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces simultaneously, order, precision, and attention to small details.
• Ability to independently and quickly learn complex products and systems.
