Our client is an established international supplier of industrial, commercial and office equipment, supporting businesses across a wide range of sectors. As part of a wider international group, the organisation offers an extensive product portfolio and operates within a busy, customer-focused environment. Due to continued business requirements, they are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Support Advisor to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term basis.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

While in this position your duties may include but may not be limited to :

  • Process orders from both new and existing customers accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and issue quotations based on individual customer requirements.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls from customers and provide a professional and helpful service.
  • Respond to customer enquiries received through webchat.
  • Provide accurate and relevant information regarding orders, products and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information within internal systems.
  • Ensure customer records and database information are kept current and complete.
  • Build positive relationships with customers through responsive and professional communication.
  • Stay informed about current promotional activity and identify opportunities to support and optimise sales.
  • Work closely with the wider Sales Support team to ensure customer requirements are dealt with efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy across all administrative and order processing activities.
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc administrative and customer service duties as required.

What You Will Need to Apply:

  • Previous experience within a customer service, sales support, administration or order processing environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong written communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work.
  • A professional and customer-focused attitude.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • A positive and collaborative approach to working as part of a wider team.
  • Experience using AX2012 would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
  • A willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
