IT Team Lab Technician

NESS requires a Lab Technician for the IT team. The role includes installation and maintenance of computers, servers, and peripherals, working with Linux and windows systems, troubleshooting hardware, software, and communication issues, installation and upgrading of hardware components, technical support for users and working with IT teams and engineers, and management and documentation of equipment and faults in the lab. Full-time position in Haifa. At least one year of experience in a System Engineer / Technical Support / Administrator role – mandatory. Deep knowledge and understanding of communication protocols and network systems such as: Firewalls, VPN, NAT, DNS, VLAN, IP – mandatory. Practical experience in Active Directory, GPO permissions management, USERS – mandatory. Knowledge of computer architecture, hardware, and Windows & Linux operating systems – mandatory. Ability to diagnose complex faults at the server, workstation, and network level – mandatory. High-level technical English – mandatory. Familiarity and work with INTEL systems and work environment – advantage. Ability to write Bash / PowerShell / Python scripts – advantage.
