Engineering Manager for a Global Company in the Defense and Civil Sectors

For a global manufacturing company operating in the civil and military sectors in the global market, an Engineering Department Manager is required

The Engineering Department Manager reports to the company's CEO and is a member of the plant's management team.

Responsibilities:

1. Management and leadership of all engineering and technological matters in the plant.
2. Management, guidance, training, and leadership of engineering teams in the fields of design, materials, processes, and analyses.
3. Responsibility for manufacturing engineering in a complex and diverse process environment including machining, Brazing processes, cleaning, and coating in chemical processes.
4. Ability to transfer products from development to manufacturing in accordance with defined requirements.
5. Management of the department's budgets in accordance with work plans.
6. Working with the company's customers, suppliers, and subcontractors in Israel and worldwide on engineering matters.
7. Working in synergy with other companies in the group in Israel and worldwide and acting as an active partner in engineering fields at the group level.
8. Responsibility for professional training and mentoring engineers.
9. Implementation of work processes such as: DTC (Design to Cost), DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
10. Initiating and identifying new technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in a managerial role in the engineering field in an industrial company.
• Engineering experience in content related to the aviation world – mandatory.
• Experience in managing and motivating engineering and technical teams.
• High level of English, ability to express oneself in writing and orally – mandatory.
• Experience working in global companies and with customers abroad.
• Knowledge of aviation standards – advantage.
