Your tasks

• Management of Change (MoC)
• Process Safety and Integrity Management (PSIM)
• Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) and SORA
• HAZOP / hazard assessment experience
• Incident and Event Reporting / Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Mentoring and development of engineers and operators

Requirements

Educational background Master/Bachelor degree in Process, Petroleum, Subsurface, Production Engineering, Engineering Management, or related discipline.

Experience / skills / certificates (if any)

• Minimum: 10+ years of experience in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry with extensive exposure to upstream or downstream production operations, process engineering, and performance optimisation.
• Discipline background: Process / Production / Subsurface / Water / Facilities Engineering, with proven experience in process monitoring and optimisation.
• Managerial experience: Minimum 3–8 years in supervisory or team leadership roles managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Previous experience in asset engineering / operations engineering role.
• Practical/operational exposure to production facilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Strong bias for being proactive and getting results.
• Excellent IT skills – Office suite, document management, applications for CMMS and Change Management.

Not essential but preferable

• Professional accreditation such as Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
