Gardener (m/f)

Do you have green fingers? We are looking for someone for the maintenance of our botanical and residential gardens, something that Nes Ammim is proud of and which we like to care for well. The gardens of Nes Ammim offer a unique added value for guests through their natural and attractive appearance.

Tasks:

• Daily care of the gardens.
• Developing and implementing an annual, ecologically responsible maintenance plan and budget that encompasses all practical gardening activities.
• Identifying, planning, budgeting, and implementing ideas for the expansion and/or improvement of the garden areas.
• Developing a sustainable improvement plan for the entire irrigation system of the botanical and residential gardens.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with garden maintenance and gardening activities.
• Good command of the English language (knowledge of Hebrew and Arabic is a plus).
• In possession of a driver's license.
• Experience working with people of different ages (particularly young adults).
• Full commitment to the mission, vision, and Christian core values of Nes Ammim.
• Willingness to live in a small international Christian community for preferably four weeks or longer.
