Senior Procurement Engineer "Port said"

Your tasks

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for technical materials, equipment, spare parts, and engineering services.
• Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure material availability and compliance with technical specifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers while monitoring supplier performance.
• Track purchase orders, resolve delivery and quality issues, and ensure uninterrupted production.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in technical procurement within manufacturing, railway, automotive, heavy industry, or EPC environments.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
