Welder (m/f/d)

Your tasks - what awaits you with us:

• Welding components made of various materials - precisely, with low distortion and in high quality
• MAG, E-Hand, UP and WIG welding in all positions
• Operating welding portals and setting up welding equipment according to specifications
• Post-processing of seams - cleaning, repairing, identifying and rectifying defects
• Safe handling of lifting gear and slinging equipment
• Compliance with all welding technology safety specifications
• Crane operation (floor-controlled)
• Passing on your know-how to apprentices and interns
• Flexible deployment also in other areas of the shipyard

What you bring with you:

• completed vocational training as a Konstruktionsmechaniker (m/f/d) with a focus on Schweißtechnik or a comparable training
• several years of professional experience in welding, ideally in shipbuilding
• welder certifications according to DIN EN 287 in shipyard-standard welding processes or the willingness to complete these with us
• basic knowledge of English is an advantage
• independent, reliable and structured way of working
• teamwork, flexibility and a good dose of hands-on mentality
