For an innovative industrial company in Ibbenbüren, we are looking for an experienced Technical Buyer (m/f/d) with project responsibility. In this position, you will independently manage procurement processes, further develop supplier strategies, and actively contribute to the optimization of cost and procurement structures.

Your future area of responsibility:

Creation of component-specific performance descriptions in close coordination with the specialist departments
National and international supplier and product research
Selection, evaluation, and further development of suitable suppliers
Obtaining and comparing quotations
Conducting price and contract negotiations
Continuous improvement of procurement-side cost structures
Independent support and management of the entire procurement process
Monitoring delivery dates as well as initiating necessary measures to ensure compliance with deadlines
Processing of complaints
Ensuring the material supply for the production area
Observation and analysis of national and international procurement markets
Building and maintaining sustainable supplier relationships
Regular reporting within the project team and the procurement organization

Your profile for the position Technical Buyer (m/f/d):

Completed technician training with a commercial background, ideally with additional qualification as a state-certified technician, or a completed technical degree (e.g., Maschinenbau, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, or comparable)
Experience in project work is mandatory
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong negotiation skills as well as communication and assertiveness
Independent and structured working style
SAP knowledge is an advantage
Proficient use of MS Office
Good English skills in speaking and writing
