Tax Advisor International Tax / Cross-Border Tax (m/f/d) in Dortmund
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Tax Advisor International Tax / Cross-Border Tax (m/f/d). In this position, you will advise medium-sized companies and corporate groups on international tax issues and accompany cross-border projects from tax analysis to implementation. The focus lies on the tax structuring of international business activities as well as the development of practical solutions for complex cross-border matters.
Your future area of responsibility:
- Independent advice to clients on issues of international tax law
- Tax support for cross-border business activities and investments
- Analysis and structuring of international corporate and equity structures
- Advice on international financing, restructuring, and expansions
- Assessment of matters taking into account national and international tax regulations as well as double taxation agreements
- Support in the tax optimization of international business models
- Preparation of expert opinions, statements, and tax recommendations
- Accompanying tax audits and external tax examinations with an international focus
- Cooperation with international tax advisors and network partners
- Support in the development of new consulting approaches and mandate solutions
- Active participation in the expansion and maintenance of long-term mandate relationships
Your profile for the position Tax Advisor International Tax / Cross-Border Tax (m/f/d):
- Successfully passed the Steuerberater exam
- Several years of professional experience in international tax law or in cross-border tax consulting
- Sound knowledge of international corporate taxation
- Experience in advising on cross-border matters and corporate structures
- Understanding of economic contexts and international business models
- Ideally knowledge in the areas of Verrechnungspreise, Konzernsteuerrecht, or Umwandlungssteuerrecht
- Confident appearance towards clients and decision-makers
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
- High level of initiative as well as strong communication and teamwork skills

Remuneration
- The position is attractively remunerated depending on qualification, professional specialization, and relevant professional experience.
- Standard target profile: approx. €80,000 to €100,000 gross per year
- With three to six years of relevant professional experience in tax structuring consulting or international tax law.
- Strong profile: approx. €100,000 to €130,000 gross per year
- With several years of experience in structuring and design projects, independent mandate responsibility, as well as sound knowledge in international tax law.
- Very experienced profile: approx. €130,000 to €150,000 gross per year
- With extensive experience in advising complex corporate structures, leading demanding projects, as well as actively supporting mandate development and business expansion.
