To act as the company's technical reference for air intake systems products (AIS – Air Intake Systems), ensuring that design, performance, durability, manufacturability, and cost requirements are properly applied in all projects. To be responsible for the definition, maintenance, and dissemination of the technical guidelines of the AIS product line, supporting product engineering, project management, and new business development.

Position responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and disseminate AIS Design Guidelines, including criteria for geometry, materials, fastenings, seals, interfaces, NVH, and validation requirements.
- Act as a technical leader and the main knowledge reference for AIS products within the company.
- Evaluate concepts, architectures, and technical solutions for new projects, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and engineering best practices.
- Technically supervise projects under development, ensuring compliance with design, performance, durability, quality, and cost requirements.
- Define premises and technical criteria for the development of air intake components and systems.
- Support designers and project leaders in the creation and revision of CAD models, technical drawings, and product definitions.
- Perform technical analyses related to airflow, pressure drop, tightness, temperature, vibration, NVH, and product durability.
- Participate in the definition of technical requirements for product validation, supporting the analysis of results and failure investigations.
- Conduct technical design reviews, risk analysis, and solution discussions with internal areas and customers.
- Actively participate in new quotations, contributing with technical definitions, feasibility assessment, and technical cost estimates.
- Participate in managerial, technical, and strategic meetings related to the AIS product portfolio.
. Act as a technical interface with customers, suppliers, laboratories, and other engineering areas.
. Know and comply with internal procedures and policies, such as the quality assurance system, environmental management system, as well as meeting all legal environmental requirements of your area.
What we are looking for:
Education
Mechanical, production, electrical, mechatronics, or related engineering.
Experience
· Solid experience in the development of automotive components and systems.
· Proven experience in Air Intake Systems (AIS) projects will be considered a fundamental requirement.
· Experience in technical interface with automotive customers and participation in new business development will be considered a differentiator.
Technical Knowledge
· Knowledge of plastic material behavior applied to the automotive industry.
· Knowledge of fluid mechanics applied to air intake systems.
· Knowledge of NVH, vibration, durability, and automotive validation requirements.
· Mastery of air intake systems (AIS), including air filters, ducts (low and high pressure), resonators, air boxes, interfaces, and related subassemblies.
