About the company

We are recruiting a motivated and detail-oriented Wood Lab Technician for a company in the wood processing industry.

Your tasks

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analysing the chemical composition and properties of wood products, including utility poles, and supporting quality control activities.

✅ Conduct laboratory tests on wood samples to assess chemical composition, moisture content and other properties.

✅ Prepare and analyse samples, ensuring accurate documentation of results.

✅ Support quality control inspections and compliance with required standards.

✅ Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while observing safety procedures.

Requirements

🎯 Qualifications & Requirements ▪️ Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related field.

▪️ Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, chemical testing and safety practices.

▪️ Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

▪️ Previous experience in laboratory testing, wood treatment or quality control is an advantage.

▪️ Applicants without direct wood-testing experience are encouraged to apply, as practical training will be provided.
