Load/Performance Tester for assignment in Central Stockholm

Do you have expertise in load and performance testing and want to contribute to optimizing and securing mission-critical systems? We are now looking for a driven Load/Performance Tester for an exciting assignment where you will combine technical excellence with knowledge transfer to the customer's team.

About the assignment Our customer currently lacks internal competence in load and performance testing, which previously led to a new web-based system failing to handle actual traffic loads. Now we are looking for you who can replicate production environment traffic in a controlled test environment, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and build up the customer's internal competence in the field.

Your tasks include:

• Develop detailed plans to recreate production traffic in a test environment
• Identify critical load scenarios that reflect real-world usage
• Create and execute test scenarios using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
• Perform continuous testing and ensure that the solution handles expected traffic
• Analyze test results, document performance issues, and suggest concrete improvements
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Act as an expert and mentor for internal teams
• Develop and lead training, workshops, and documentation in the field
• Work in Microsoft environments (merit)
• Contribute basic cybersecurity competence related to performance and reliability

We are looking for you who have:

• Documented experience in load and performance testing in complex environments (preferably from multiple businesses)
• Ability to quickly analyze data and identify system bottlenecks
• Experience in creating and executing tests with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
• Experience in replicating production environments for testing purposes (merit)
• Experience with agile projects and DevOps methodology (merit)
• Certifications in testing/performance optimization are a plus
• Experience from security-critical environments and Microsoft platforms is merit
• Good communication skills in English (Swedish is an advantage)
• Ability to act as a mentor and build up internal competence

• Scope: Ongoing consulting assignment
• Location: 50% on-site in central Stockholm, 50% remote
• Language: English is required, Swedish is a merit
