Finance Business Controller (m/f/d)

To strengthen our Finance department, we are looking for a/an for 12 months starting immediately:

Finance Business Controller (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including reporting and forecasts in English
• Budget preparation including relevant reporting within the framework of single- or multi-year planning
• Contact person for auditors and tax advisors, support during tax audits
• Examination and application for tax refund possibilities

Statistical reports to authorities and offices

• Examination and analysis of sales, production costs, margin developments, operating costs, inventory costs, and operating results
• Further development of existing cost and performance accounting, derivation of hourly rates, manufacturing costs, surcharge rates, and product calculations.
• Joint development of action plans with the Finance Business Manager in case of critical plan/actual deviations
• Support for the Finance Business Manager in investment decisions and economic feasibility studies
• Preparation and explanation of management and ad-hoc reports
• Preparation of key performance indicators as a basis for entrepreneurial decisions
• Further development of existing key figures and reporting for the management of business activities
• Close cooperation with the Financial Shared Service Center
• Participation in the execution of inventories

Requirements:

• Completed degree in business administration
• 2-3 years of professional experience as a controller, ideally in an industrial environment
• Very good English skills and MS Office
• Communicative
• Analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
• Flexibility and commitment
• Independent working style but also enjoying working in a team
• Willingness to take on responsibility
