Technical Project Manager

We are now looking for a technical project manager for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in Linköping – a global player in the development and production of advanced thermal management solutions for the heavy vehicle industry. Here, you will have a key role in the development of components for the vehicles of the future driven by electricity, hydrogen, and diesel.

This is a consulting assignment for you who is a real doer – a driven project manager who takes ownership, creates structure, and makes things happen.

About the assignment

As a technical project manager, you lead development projects through all phases – from planning to delivery. You are responsible for ensuring progress, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction in a technically advanced and international environment.

You function as the hub in the project team and coordinate specialists within development, quality, process, purchasing, and production. The role involves both operational and strategic responsibility where you ensure that project goals are achieved according to plan.

Examples of responsibilities:

Define project goals, timeframes, milestones, and resource requirements

Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams

Follow up on deliveries and ensure that the project plan is maintained

Optimize resources – personnel, budget, and technical tools

Manage risks and deviations as well as develop action plans

Drive customer dialogues and ensure technical and commercial implementation

Responsible for financial follow-up within the projects

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Master of Science in Engineering is meritorious)
• At least 5 years of experience in project management within the manufacturing industry

• Experience from the automotive industry is highly meritorious
• Ability to lead complex technical projects in cross-functional teams

• Good financial understanding and experience in following up project budgets
• Very good knowledge of English

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of IATF
• Experience with APQP methodologies

• Experience with technical and commercial phase validations
• Experience with Matlab, Smartsheet, MS Project, Catia and/or SAP

• Knowledge of Swedish
