Sub-Project Manager

We are now looking for a Project Forwarder for an exciting consulting assignment at our client, an international industrial company operating within advanced technical production. Here, you will have a key role in customer projects where you are responsible for transport and logistics solutions from order start to final delivery. The role is suitable for you who thrive in a project-oriented environment with a high tempo and many contact surfaces, where you get to combine logistics expertise with business acumen and project management.

About the assignment

As a Project Forwarder, you will work as a sub-project manager responsible for transport-related issues throughout the entire project lifecycle. Each project has unique conditions regarding delivery terms, destinations, customs handling, and logistics concepts, which requires a structured and solution-oriented way of working.

You are responsible, among other things, for:

Leading and coordinating forwarding and transport-related activities within the projects.

Developing transport strategies that ensure deliveries on time and according to the customer's requirements.

Procuring transport solutions, drafting agreements, as well as following up on budgets and costs linked to deliveries.

Collaborating with customers, suppliers, transport agents, and internal functions.

Ensuring that transport and customs documentation is correct and complies with applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements.

Handling and resolving logistical challenges that arise during the course of the projects.

Your Profile

Relevant university education or several years of qualified experience within logistics, import/export, or equivalent.

Good experience of logistics and transport flows.

Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Good ability to work structured, independently, and with several parallel projects.

Meritous

Experience of international transport and customs handling.

Experience of import/export and international trade flows.

Experience of contract drafting and transport procurement.

Experience of project management or coordination of resources.

Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
