AI Governance & Data Quality Lead

– bridging data, technology and business across NDI Group

We are looking for an AI Governance & Data Quality Lead who will be based within IT while working closely with the entire business. The role is central to NDI’s continued digital development and requires structure, strong collaboration skills and business acumen.

About the role

As AI Governance & Data Quality Lead, you will be the focal point for coordination, governance and progress within master data and the use of AI across NDI Group. You will have broad cross-functional responsibility and natural visibility throughout the organisation, while playing a central role in building the foundation for AI within the organisation.

Your focus will be to ensure:

Clear ownership of and accountability for master data

Consistent, high-quality data across systems and countries

Responsible, value-creating use of AI solutions built on a solid data foundation

The role is closely connected to IT, to the business and to senior management, and requires you to move confidently between strategy and practice. You will report to the Head of Digital & IT and become part of the IT department.

Your key responsibilities

Coordinate and support master data governance across NDI Group

Work closely with relevant key stakeholders and business areas on the structure, quality and maintenance of master data

Ensure robust and effective governance for the use of AI within NDI Group

Help ensure that AI solutions are built on accurate, consistent and documented data

Coordinate AI-related initiatives across the organisation in collaboration with IT and the business

Support common methods, principles and guidelines - without creating a burdensome layer of control

Communicate complex data and AI topics in language that both the business and IT can understand

Your profile

We imagine that you:

Have experience with master data, data governance, BI, ERP systems (such as D365FO) or related areas

Have an interest in - or experience with - the application of AI in a business context

Thrive in a coordinating and communicative role involving many stakeholders

Work in a structured manner and are able to create clarity and drive progress

Have strong communication skills and can bridge the gap between IT and the business

Understand that master data and AI are not solely IT matters, but also management and business disciplines

Experience with a range of AI tools would be a clear advantage
