New Model Engineer

1. Responsible for New Model Project operations from receiving requirements from customers to actual Mass Production.
2. Study and analyze product drawings, customer requirements, and Customer Specific Requirements.
3. Plan and execute APQP activities according to the schedule.
4. Coordinate with Design, Mold, Production, Quality departments, and suppliers.
5. Prepare and review quality documents, including PFMEA, Control Plan, Flow Chart, and WI.
6. Plan and monitor Trial Run and Pilot Run.
7. Analyze problems and implement corrective actions using quality tools such as 8D, 5Why, and Fishbone Diagram.
8. Prepare PPAP documents for customer approval.
9. Control Engineering Change Management activities.
10. Monitor production results during SOP and implement continuous process improvements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. At least 2-5 years of experience in New Model, APQP, NPI, or new product development in an industrial factory. Knowledge of Die Casting, Squeeze Casting, and/or Forging manufacturing processes. Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality management systems and Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA), Control Plan, SPC, MSA. Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawing and GD&T. Knowledge of materials, metallurgy, and automotive parts manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD programs such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Communication and coordination skills with customers and internal departments. Ability to communicate in English at an operational level.
