Associate Program Director
The Associate Program Director (APD) is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, governance, and growth of assigned technology accounts and programs within a defined revenue threshold. The role oversees multiple projects and delivery workstreams, ensuring effective program execution, financial performance, stakeholder alignment, and service quality. The APD performs both strategic and tactical responsibilities, including program planning, delivery leadership, financial management, risk oversight, and account growth. The role operates with full accountability for assigned accounts and programs.
Program Delivery and Governance
Own and manage multiple related projects within assigned accounts to ensure alignment with program objectives, timelines, scope, and dependencies.
Establish and enforce program governance structures, including delivery cadence, reporting, escalation paths, and controls.
Ensure effective transition of projects into operations and business-as-usual environments.
Maintain oversight of program execution to ensure adherence to contractual commitments, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
Financial, Revenue, and Performance Management
Own revenue, budget, and financial performance for assigned accounts with revenue responsibility of up to PHP 500M.
Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with account objectives.
Monitor program-level KPIs, SLAs, CSAT, margin performance, and delivery metrics.
Drive cost optimization, efficiency initiatives, and benefits realization across assigned programs.
Prepare consolidated financial and performance reports for internal leadership and client reviews.
Account Growth and Client Management
Serve as the primary owner and senior operational contact for assigned client accounts.
Drive account growth through expansion opportunities, delivery excellence, and sustained client satisfaction.
Lead client engagements, executive communications, steering committee discussions, and program updates.
Manage escalations within the account and implement effective resolution strategies.
Risk, Change, and Quality Management
Identify, assess, and manage cross-project risks, dependencies, and delivery issues.
Lead impact assessments and readiness activities for program and account-level changes.
Ensure consistent service quality, compliance, and adherence to enterprise and client standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery, operations, and governance.
People Leadership and Capability Development
Lead, mentor, and manage Project Managers, delivery leads, and program team members.
Support performance management, capability development, and succession planning within assigned programs.
Promote a culture of accountability, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement.
Build high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams capable of executing complex delivery engagements
Education – Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is an advantage
ITIL 4 and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
Related Work Experience – 10–12 years of experience in the IT industry.
At least 6–8 years in project, program, or service delivery management roles.
Minimum 2–3 years managing multiple projects, programs, or large delivery workstreams.
Proven experience in SDLC, service delivery operations, and program governance.
Solutions architecture background is an advantage.
Knowledge – In-depth Knowledge in the following:
Strong business acumen with the ability to align program and account execution to organizational objectives, revenue targets, and growth priorities.
Solid understanding of IT service delivery models, operational governance, and service management practices within enterprise environments.
Working knowledge of applications, systems, and IT operations sufficient to oversee delivery, assess delivery and operational risks, and guide informed decision-making.
Strong understanding of SDLC, application support, and maintenance models across Agile and Waterfall environments.
Proficiency in program and project management tools, methodologies, and collaboration platforms used to manage complex, multi-workstream engagements.
Deep understanding of IT service delivery principles, including operational excellence, risk management, and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
