Technical Project Manager

The Role As a Technical Project Manager with us at NCS Colour, you will work with customized solutions from our entire product and service portfolio. These range from traditional physical products in the color industry, color selection tools for designers and architects, to digital software solutions for the automotive industry. The role is primarily operational, and typically you will either independently drive customer projects one moment, or work in a project format coordinating internal and external resources, while in the next, you support the sales team with technical expertise regarding our products/services.

As a Technical Project Manager with us, you will work independently but in close collaboration with the Technical Team Leader, to whom you also report. You are based at the headquarters in Stockholm and have internationally based colleagues in China and Germany, as well as customer relationships all over the world. You are an expert at working cross-functionally both internally and with customers, and you feel that this description matches what you want to do and who you are as a person.

Main Tasks As a Project Manager, you will have many points of contact both internally and externally with customers and partners. In addition to driving time-limited projects, you will also work long-term to support customers in CAPQ – our cloud-based SaaS solution for color communication. You will develop, coordinate, implement, and follow up on project plans, working with everything from communication and administration to purely technical tasks. You will measure and analyze spectral data, optimize services for customers, and place technical results in a context that makes them understandable to non-technical people.

You learn new things easily, have an analytical mind, and are attentive to detail. You have a genuine interest in technology and development. Others might call you stubborn; you are persistent and ensure that you carry out what you have undertaken.

Your background

• Completed at least a 3-year technical program at a post-secondary level
• Worked for 1-3 years in a project manager role combining planning and implementation. Whether it is a large or small organization is less important – but you have likely worked within B2B in some way.
• Worked mostly operationally but also participated in strategic discussions to execute and follow up on strategic plans.
• Experience working broadly with a combination of ongoing routines and projects simultaneously.
• Written everything from presentations to customer communication in English – so your English is completely fluent in writing as well.
• A sense for digital tools and workflows where the web is central.
• Work proficiently in Microsoft Office programs.
