About the position Are you an experienced professional with expertise in fleet management, and are you motivated by creating improvements, optimizing resource use, and contributing to increased business value? We are now seeking a Fleet Manager for NCC Industry's procurement organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and further developing processes and working methods related to the company's vehicle fleet, as well as ensuring that vehicles are managed in an efficient, cost-conscious, and sustainable manner. You will collaborate closely with the operations organization, suppliers, and various support functions to ensure good utilization of the vehicles, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to efficient and future-oriented solutions. The role also involves responsibility for ensuring that the business complies with current laws, regulations, and requirements in the field. As Fleet Manager, you will have a central role in the further development of NCC Industry, in an exciting phase where the business is preparing to stand on its own as an independent company. Your most important responsibilities Drive development initiatives and improvement projects related to the company's vehicle fleet. Develop efficient processes and working methods for the management of the company's vehicles. Contribute to long-term planning of the vehicle fleet based on the company's needs. Coordinate procurement, replacement, relocation, and disposal of company cars and other vehicles. Follow up on supplier performance and contribute to negotiations. Act as an internal expert and advisor on matters related to fleet management. Analyze data and identify opportunities for better utilization and cost-effectiveness. Follow up and report KPIs for the vehicle fleet, including costs, utilization rate, fuel consumption, and damages. Stay updated on relevant rules and requirements related to the vehicle fleet and ensure compliance with these. About the team You will be part of NCC Industry's procurement organization and report to Manager of Technology & Projects. The role involves close collaboration with operations, procurement, HR, finance, sustainability, and external suppliers. You will gain a wide network across the organization and play an important role in the work of further developing the management of the vehicle fleet and contributing to good business results.
Your experience and background We believe that you have: Several years of experience with fleet management or a similar professional field. Experience in driving efficiency and optimization of fleet management and vehicle operations. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach. Experience with supplier follow-up and collaboration with various stakeholders. Good knowledge of relevant rules and requirements within vehicles and company car schemes. Good English skills, both written and oral. Higher education or equivalent relevant work experience is an advantage. Practical information Preferred place of work is Oslo, Norway. The position involves some travel. This is a permanent position.
