Senior Financial Analyst — Financial Data & Reporting
Senior
Your tasks
You own the financial data layer behind the company financial analysis platform for companies listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul): spreading financial statements into the standardized database, reviewing and validating what the automation pipeline produces, and building the reports and analytical templates the platform delivers.
- Spread interim and annual financial statements of Tadawul-listed issuers into the standardized database — income statement, statement of financial position, cash flow, together with segment, geographic and note-level detail.
- Own the cash dividend and corporate action dataset: dividend per share, and adjustment factors for bonus shares, splits, rights issues and capital reductions.
- Audit the inherited historical dataset for accuracy, mapping consistency and period comparability; remediate and document every change made.
- Build and own the template library, covering earnings release analysis; spreading templates, generic and by sector; and financial analysis templates.
- Produce the company profile and sector dashboard, and the quarterly sector and market-level earnings roll-ups.
- Handle internal and client data and analysis requests.
- Working with the Automation team to write functional specifications the engineering team can build from: extraction logic, validation rules, mapping memory and report generation.
Requirements
- Write analytical commentary in Arabic and English without translation support.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Five to eight years in equity research, financial data and spreading, credit analysis, external audit or financial reporting, with demonstrable hands-on statement spreading experience.
- Prior experience at a market data vendor, research house, asset manager or investment bank covering GCC equities.
- Deep working knowledge of accounting policies as endorsed in Saudi Arabia.
- Saudi market knowledge: CMA continuing obligations, Tadawul disclosure types and announcement forms, the distinction between the Main Market and the Nomu parallel market, and the periodic reporting deadlines.
- Full professional fluency in Arabic and English — able to read audited Arabic financial statements and write publication-quality English analysis, and the reverse.
- Advanced Excel, and able to interrogate the database directly rather than requesting extracts from others.
- Experience reviewing automated or AI-generated output, or clear aptitude for it.
- Experience writing functional specifications and working alongside product or engineering teams.
