SECURITY SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SPECIAL PROGRAMS BRANCH (N00SC1) of COMNAVAIRES.

Major duties

• You will serve as the Command Government Special Access Program Security Officer providing overall program management, security guidance, and related technical expertise.
• You will be responsible for performing a variety of non-standard security functions and specialized duties related to unique operational and administrative requirements of assigned programs.
• You will be responsible for the unique security measures in a variety of operational environments for programs that are highly classified, sensitive and critical to national security.
• You will provide oversight of Special Access Program Facilities including researching, developing and implementing any Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: -Experience using Special Access Program (SAP) personnel security applications to enter, update, retrieve, validate, and maintain personnel-security information and records in accordance with established procedures and access controls. -Experience applying advanced knowledge of personnel, physical, information, and industrial security principles to analyze security issues. -Experience planning, coordinating, and executing sensitive, time-critical projects by establishing milestones, tracking actions and deliverables, prioritizing competing requirements, and meeting established deadlines. -Experience identifying organizational barriers, process gaps, and stakeholder issues that affect project execution. **NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
