Senior QA Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :

We are seeking a meticulous QA Engineer to design and execute test strategies across web, mobile, and backend systems. You will ensure high product quality through a combination of manual and automated testing, working closely with engineering and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and API layers
• Build and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and regression testing
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using a defect-tracking tool
• Collaborate with engineers and product owners to define clear, testable acceptance criteria
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and release readiness reviews
• Perform performance, security, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility testing as required
• Maintain and continuously improve test plans, test data, and QA documentation
• Execute regression test cycles and smoke tests ahead of each release
• Support root-cause analysis of production defects in collaboration with engineering
• Advocate for quality best practices and shift-left testing across the engineering team

Prepare the UAT alongside the BA and Dev Team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :

• 10 + years of QA/Test Engineering experience across web and mobile applications
• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar)
• Solid understanding of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum testing practices and defect-tracking tools (Jira)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Basic scripting/programming skills for writing automated tests
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
• Exposure to CI/CD integration of automated test suites
• Familiarity with accessibility and security testing basics
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
