Foreign Trade Assistant - Automotive Sector

At Navitrans SAS, we are looking for a Foreign Trade Assistant to join our work team. We require a technologist in Administration, Foreign Trade, or related areas, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in import and nationalization processes of tangible products, import liquidation, and management indicators. It is important to have knowledge in import requirements for vehicles, machinery, spare parts, and other tangible products, management of VUCE, tariff classification, certificates of origin, and Incoterms, as well as an intermediate-advanced level of English.

The objective of the position will be to process and report the status of import operations for machinery, vehicles, and spare parts, performing the necessary activities to obtain the free disposal of the merchandise by Navitrans and ensuring compliance with the processes associated with the foreign trade operation.

Among its main responsibilities will be sending copies of import declarations to the accounting area, performing the monthly reconciliation of the report of declarations with release against the ROP to manage the payment of taxes in favor to the DIAN, dimensioning the invoices corresponding to the logistics expenses and costs of spare parts and equipment operations for accounting, and sending original documents to the customs agency and other areas that require them.

It will also be in charge of the control and organization of physical and virtual archives, the completion of management indicators for declarations in state 50, as well as the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of processes related to the accounting area. Additionally, it will provide support and perform replacements in the different activities of the area when required.

We are looking for an organized, analytical person, oriented towards detail and compliance, with the capacity to follow up on foreign trade processes and documentation and to work in an articulated manner with different areas of the organization. It must also participate in and execute activities related to the Safety, Health at Work, and Environment Management System, in accordance with the organization's policies and current regulations.
