Senior Administration Officer

The Senior Administration Officer provides high-level administrative, operational, and customer service support to ensure the effective day-to-day functioning of a Navitas Skilled Futures College or site. Working under general direction, the role applies established systems, policies, and procedures to coordinate key administrative processes, support local operations and compliance activities, and facilitate effective communication across teams.
The position contributes to process improvements, supports project implementation, and provides guidance to administration staff to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Essential:
1.Experience in administrative roles within government-contracted education or training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to apply and maintain administrative systems, processes and record-keeping practices.
- Ability to identify and resolve administrative or procedural issues using established guidelines.
- Proficiency in learner management and information systems (e.g. Moodle, VETtrak, ARMS and Workforce Australia).
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Awareness of diverse cultural perspectives and ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desirable:
-knowledge of contract KPIs and reporting requirements.
-experience in government contract administration.
-experience in the education or training sector.
-understanding of compliance in a regulated environment.
