SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Major duties

• You will develop and execute functions within the division and often contributes to such efforts within the department and the group.
• You will direct the development Of the SWS material budget to cover the cost of material required for operating stock and planned programs for both procurement and repair.
• You will Oversee and directs the initial load and continued maintenance of configuration and allowance data for equipment installed on Trident submarines.
• You will plans work, sets priorities for completion Of work, and assigns work within the department; determines staffing requirements for the department and ensures position descriptions are accurate

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: The employee must understand end-to-end supply chain and lifecycle logistic support as it relates to assigned material, systems, platforms and/or projects. The employee must be able to coordinate with internal and external partners in order to analyze and communicate supply system performance. The employee must also be able to perform analysis and inform mission partners on supply chain barriers and possible solutions. The employee must be able to supervise a team of employees working collaboratively.
