ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Major duties
- You will conduct on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics of sensors, wiring, and data acquisition units (DAQs) in diverse field environments.
- You will analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- You will lead the design and hands-on fabrication of custom control systems, ensuring they meet rigorous operational specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Develops, tests, and implements logic for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to automate testing sequences, control systems, and safety interlocks. 2. Designs, develops, and seamlessly integrates custom fire sets specifically engineered for reliable and safe ordnance initiation. 3. Processes and reduces raw instrumentation data into polished, comprehensive deliverable products tailored to the technical requirements of organizational customers. Education
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study or specific course requirements generally as stated in paragraph A in the individual occupational requirements OPM qualification standard. Where specific course requirements are not indicated in paragraph A, the number of semester hours required to constitute a major field of study is the amount specified by the college or university attended. If this number cannot be obtained, 24 semester hours will be considered as equivalent to a major field of study. The nature and quality of this required course work must have been such that it would serve as a prerequisite for more advanced study in the field or subject-matter area. Related course work generally refers to courses that may be accepted as part of the program major. AND 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least DP-3 (or comparable GS grades). Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
