Within the Chief Operating Office - Corporate & Investment Banking (COO CIB) department, you will join the Global Banking Operations (GBO) scope, and more specifically the Back Office Commodities Trade Finance Operations, as a Commodities Trade Finance Back Office Manager. The team ensures the processing of international trade finance operations, the securing of their execution, as well as the operational and regulatory monitoring of client instructions.

On a daily basis, your missions are to:

  • Take charge of client instructions for the assigned portfolio and implement the requested financing (short-term foreign currency advances, overdrafts, documentary credits, stand-by letters of credit, on-demand guarantees);
  • Analyze and process instructions in accordance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and client needs, while ensuring their proper settlement in the information systems;
  • Ensure the monitoring of management events, report any anomaly or incident to management without delay, and process accounting suspense items;
  • Control operations with regard to financial security and fraud prevention requirements, and alert in case of doubt or suspicion;
  • Be the preferred interlocutor for the front office and middle office teams, while contributing to projects and continuous improvement actions for production.

As a Commodities Trade Finance Back Office Manager, you participate in the permanent improvement of operational quality and propose actions aimed at automating production and reducing operational risk.

About you: If you recognize yourself in the following description, you are made to work with us! With a higher education degree (Bac+2/3) in Banking Finance, you have 2 to 3 years of experience in the field of International Trade.

You master:

  • International finance and trade techniques (physical, financial, and documentary flows, incoterms);
  • The processing of Trade Finance operations;
  • Standard office tools, notably Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Operational monitoring and control of operations in information systems;
  • Financial security and fraud prevention issues.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening capacity, and you are:

  • Organized;
  • Reliable and rigorous;
  • Possessing a strong team spirit and excellent communication skills.

You master English with a minimum C1 level, both written and spoken. Knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus. </body>
