Business Unit Director - Industrial Training M/F
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Group CEO, you will take overall responsibility for the business unit with a "business leader" posture. You will drive the company with a true entrepreneurial logic around 3 dimensions.
- Uniting and growing teams
You will lead a team composed of trainers, inside sales, and support functions, as well as a network of partners and external service providers:
- ensure close management with employees and various external interlocutors
- support employees in their development and skill enhancement
- manage performance reviews, individual follow-ups, and career evolutions
- recruit the future trainers necessary for the development of the activity
- structure the organization to support growth
- unite the teams around a common vision and objectives.
- The challenge is to know how to create connections, provide a framework, and engage the teams.
- Driving commercial development
You will be directly involved in the development of the business and the relationship with strategic clients - key accounts (in France and internationally):
- retain and develop key accounts - like a Key Account Manager
- analyze the client portfolio and identify development potential (identification of market/service/geographic zone etc.)
- participate in the construction of offers adapted to the issues of industrial clients
- represent the company with the sales team during trade fairs and professional events
- support the sales team in the evolution of its practices
- The company has a portfolio of industrial clients and an engaged sales team.
- The challenge is now to go further by initiating the teams to a more "conquest" oriented culture while maintaining the quality of the existing client relationship.
- Driving economic performance
You will take responsibility for the business unit's profit and loss account.
- build and manage budgets
- monitor turnover and margin levels
- analyze the profitability of activities
- identify levers for performance improvement
- work in connection with the group's support functions
- And the technical side of it all?
- A technical culture/sensitivity in mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, maintenance, or more broadly industrial environments will allow you to understand client issues and be credible with the teams.
