Junior Business IT Correspondent (V/M/X)

At the Nationale Bank van België (NBB), microdata for the Bank are collected and validated within the Beheer microdata department. It is the Data Systems and Exchange service that distributes the data and makes the appropriate tools available.

The Systems & Support department is responsible for the application of the tools and acts as the link between the operational entities and IT. It provides user support for the collection and validation instruments and manages access to applications and data. It oversees the continuous improvement of services and coordinates the technical documentation.

The Support section resolves daily problems with the applications, tests new applications, manages the necessary accesses, and supports the department's business analysts in their roles. It is within this section that a vacancy is available.

Job description

• you monitor the operational problems of the applications used in the department, such as CBSO, CAP, BECRIS, ITGS, FDI, OneGate, MDM, ... and the associated webservices
• you manage the accesses for the department
• you can independently implement solutions via mini-projects in Power BI, Power Automate, Databricks, etc.
• you perform user testing and provide feedback
• you contribute to drafting and updating the documentation regarding the applications
• you preferably have a bachelor's degree in IT or similar
• you are accurate in performing your tasks and you meet deadlines
• you are able to work both independently and in a team
• knowledge of both Power BI, Confluence, Databricks and Jira as well as the XML and SQL languages is an asset
• you have a good knowledge of French (level B2) and you have an average knowledge of English (level B1)

This junior position is aimed at candidates with relevant professional experience of a maximum of 2 years.
