Cost Accountant

Job Purpose: To support the Finance team in monitoring and analyzing project and operational costs, maintaining accurate cost records, assisting in budget versus actual cost analysis, and preparing cost reports to support effective cost control and financial decision-making across KAHRABA’s projects and operations. The role is designed for a junior finance professional who will develop practical expertise in project costing, cost control, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting within an EPC and power solutions environment. Key Responsibilities Support project cost tracking and monitoring.

Assist in preparing Budget vs. Actual and variance analysis.

Monitor project-related costs including materials, subcontractors, manpower, and other expenses.

Support inventory and cost reconciliations.

Assist in preparing monthly cost reports and financial schedules.

Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, and Project teams to ensure accurate cost data.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

Good command of Microsoft Excel .

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Good English communication skills.

Basic knowledge of accounting and cost accounting.

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures

In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

Strong understanding of Egyptian Tax and Customs laws regarding industrial assembly.

Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical mindset, high integrity, and the ability to explain financial data to non-financial production managers.
