Barista cum Server

Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista cum Server to join our team. The role involves preparing quality coffee and beverages, serving customers, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to company standards.

Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, efficient service.

Serve bakery items, desserts, and beverages to customers.

Operate the POS/cashier system and handle cashless and cash transactions.

Explain menu items and recommend bakery products or beverages when appropriate.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter, dining area, coffee station, and equipment.

Restock beverages, bakery products, packaging, and other supplies as needed.

Check the presentation, freshness, and availability of bakery products.

Assist with opening and closing duties.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally.

Support the team with other café and bakery duties when required.

Requirements Previous experience as a barista, server, café crew, or in a customer-service role is preferred.

Barista experience and knowledge of coffee preparation are an advantage.

Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with customers.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible, punctual, and well-presented.

Willing to work shifts and public holidays when required. (Monday off)
