Your tasks
- Operate asphalt road roller machinery for the compaction of asphalt surfaces and base materials.
- Perform rolling activities according to project requirements and site instructions.
- Ensure proper compaction levels are achieved to meet engineering and quality standards.
- Conduct pre-start and daily inspections of equipment and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Monitor roller performance and ensure safe operation at all times.
- Coordinate with paving crews, supervisors, and other equipment operators to maintain smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and daily activities when required.
- Follow traffic management plans and site safety procedures.
- Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Assist with other site duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Valid heavy vehicle or equipment operator license, where required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating asphalt road rollers in road construction projects.
- Good understanding of asphalt paving and compaction techniques.
- Ability to read and understand site instructions and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
