Your tasks

As part of the department, you will get to work closely between technology and security and a major societal mission. You will become a central person in the work of supervising ekom and data center actors according to the ekom and security laws. We work interdisciplinarily, and tasks are performed in close cooperation with colleagues from various professional backgrounds.

• participate in the work of designing requirements and regulations to ensure stable electronic communication services and data center services
• evaluate, guide, and supervise data centers and ekom providers to strengthen preparedness against unwanted incidents in the ekom networks
• guide and process cases according to the security law and the security provisions of the ekom law
• contribute to the department's work with supervision and preparedness
• contribute to investigations, analyses, and projects related to supervision and preparedness
• identify and implement measures to make the ekom networks more robust

Requirements

Qualifications

• master's in social sciences, societal safety, law, or similar relevant fields of study

For applicants with particularly relevant experience, the education requirement may be waived

• ability to communicate complex issues in Norwegian and English, both in writing and orally
• minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

It is an advantage if you have

• experience from work with security and preparedness
• experience from analysis and investigation tasks
• experience with conducting supervision

The position is paid as advisor/senior advisor from NOK 615,000 to NOK 890,000, depending on qualifications. For particularly qualified applicants, higher salary may be considered. Two percent contribution to Statens pensjonskasse is deducted from the salary.
