Hardware Design engineer

Nairi-Tech is looking for a motivated and skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our engineering team.

The successful candidate will be involved in the full hardware development lifecycle , from understanding and defining project requirements and developing the initial Scope of Work, through schematic and PCB design, prototyping, testing, debugging, and commissioning.

Define board-level hardware architectures based on system and project requirements.

Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications and hardware solutions .

Develop and review Scope of Work, technical specifications, and project requirements .

Design electrical schematics and PCB layouts for electronic products.

Select appropriate electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components , considering technical requirements, availability, reliability, cost, and lifecycle.

Develop hardware solutions from concept through prototype and production readiness .

Prepare and execute hardware verification and validation activities .

Develop test plans, test procedures, and test setups , including required test and support equipment.

Perform PCB bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis .

Participate in prototype testing, commissioning, and design verification.

Communicate directly with customers to clarify technical requirements, discuss solutions, and resolve engineering issues .

Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, PCB documentation, BOMs, test documentation, and technical reports.

Work closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and other engineering teams to deliver complete products.

Support the transition of designs from prototype to manufacturing and mass production .

University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.

Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics .

Solid experience with complex PCB design and layout , including multilayer boards.

Proficiency in Altium Designer .

Strong practical knowledge of electronic laboratory equipment and measurement instruments .

Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation .

Hands-on experience with PCB bring-up, debugging, and hardware troubleshooting .

Knowledge of additional CAD/engineering software is an advantage.

Ability and willingness to travel when required .

Strong teamwork and communication skills .

Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and attention to detail .

Ability to manage priorities and meet project deadlines .

Excellent English and Russian , both written and spoken.
