Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

Ensure that all works are executed according to approved designs, quality standards, and applicable codes.

Review and interpret IFC drawings, Shop Drawings, specifications, and technical documents .

Coordinate with the Technical Office, Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and other site disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor the progress of works and ensure that activities are completed according to the approved project schedule.

Supervise subcontractors and site teams and follow up on manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.

Inspect completed works and coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure compliance with project standards.

Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues in coordination with the Technical Office and Project Management.

Prepare and submit Daily and Weekly Site Reports , including progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and site issues.

Monitor quantities of executed works and coordinate with the Quantity Surveying/Technical Office team when required.

Ensure proper implementation of approved Method Statements, ITPs, and Inspection Requests .

Coordinate material deliveries and ensure that approved materials are used on site.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety procedures .

Follow up on project requirements, instructions, and corrective actions issued by the Project Manager or Consultant.

Maintain proper documentation of site activities, inspections, drawings, and technical instructions.

Attend site meetings and provide updates regarding progress, technical issues, and project requirements.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / relevant Engineering discipline , according to the project requirements.

3–7 years of relevant experience in construction and site execution.

Proven experience working on construction projects with strong site supervision experience.

Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution procedures.

Good ability to read and understand technical drawings, Shop Drawings, specifications, and BOQs .

Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, especially Excel .

Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.

Good knowledge of quality control and HSE requirements .

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage site teams and coordinate effectively with subcontractors and consultants.

Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Military Service: Completed / Exempted for Egyptian males.

Location: Hurghada .
