N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European competence center for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce Trent series engines. The joint venture of Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc. is located on the outskirts of Arnstadt, in Thuringia's largest industrial area, "Erfurter Kreuz". More than 1000 employees service engines for 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce.

• Technical affinity and manual dexterity

Boarding / Your Profile

Depending on which position and area of application best suit you, your tasks may include, for example, the following activities:

• Performing disassembly and assembly work on engines, modules, and assemblies according to specifications
• Performing measurement and testing tasks to determine technical parameters according to documentation
• Carrying out cleaning work, visual inspections, and minor repairs on engines and their individual parts
• Preparing and performing manual cleaning work on engine components
• Setting up, operating, and monitoring fully automatic chemical cleaning systems
• Setting up, operating, and monitoring semi-automatic blasting systems for the abrasive cleaning of engine components
• Preserving and pickling of metallic engine components
• Ensuring the completeness and compliance of work documents and engine components
• Checking, processing, and documenting engine- and process-specific documents
• Performing maintenance and servicing work
