The joint venture of Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc. is located on the outskirts of Arnstadt, in Thuringia's largest industrial area, "Erfurter Kreuz". More than 1000 employees look after engines for 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce.

• Experience in handling metallic materials desirable
• High level of commitment and reliability as well as teamwork and communication skills
• Strong quality awareness as well as an independent, structured way of working
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Basic knowledge of MS-Office
• Basic knowledge of SAP desirable
• Basic knowledge of English

Boarding / Your Tasks

• Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections on engine components, taking into account specific characteristics (e.g., technical instructions from the manufacturer, the operator, and aviation authorities)
• Selection and use of measuring equipment according to measuring equipment capability
• Assessing deviations and comparing permissible specifications with the respective engine documentation
• Determining necessary process steps for the engine components
• Recording inspection results and ordering spare parts using SAP
• Creating and evaluating corresponding technical documentation
• Carrying out defined minor repairs
