N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European competence center for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce Trent series engines. The joint venture of Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc. is located on the outskirts of Arnstadt, in Thuringia's largest industrial area, "Erfurter Kreuz". More than 1000 employees service engines from 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce.
Check-In / Your Tasks
- Operating Zeiss 3D coordinate measuring machines with development perspectives toward becoming a programmer
- Performing measurements on components and fixtures based on specifications
- Providing measurement data for the creation of statistical evaluations of measurement series
- Creating part-specific and reusable holding fixtures (e.g., Alufix holding fixtures)
- Evaluating, documenting, and archiving program documentation and data
Boarding / Your Profile
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Technical Drafter, Toolmaker, Model Maker, Industrial Mechanic, Machinist for Cutting Technology) or a comparable qualification
- Ideally initial professional experience in handling 3D coordinate measuring machines
- Careful, reliable, and structured way of working
- High degree of personal responsibility and independence
- Ability to work in a team and enjoyment of collaborating with colleagues
- Confident handling of MS-Office applications
- Basic knowledge of English
