N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European competence center for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce Trent series engines. The joint venture of Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc. is located on the outskirts of Arnstadt, in Thuringia's largest industrial area, "Erfurter Kreuz". More than 1000 employees service engines for 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce.

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as aircraft mechanic, tool mechanic, precision mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, machining mechanic, industrial mechanic) or in a comparable metalworking profession
• Technical affinity and manual dexterity
• High level of commitment and reliability as well as teamwork and communication skills
• Strong quality awareness as well as an independent, structured way of working
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Basic knowledge of MS-Office
• Basic knowledge of English

Do you not meet all the described requirements or do you come from a non-aviation industry? No problem - at N3 you will work in a team and will be fully trained by experienced colleagues.

Boarding / Your Tasks

• Carrying out disassembly and assembly work on engines/modules/assemblies according to specifications
• Carrying out measurement and testing tasks to determine technical parameters according to documentation
• Execution of cleaning work, visual inspections and minor repairs on engines and their individual parts
• Checking and processing engine-specific documentation
