System Engineer Test Bench Electronics (m/f/d) (Mechatronics Technician)

• Ensuring the operational readiness of measurement, control, and data acquisition systems in the test bench area
• Configuring, further developing, and performing troubleshooting on IT and test bench systems (including Windows and Linux environments, databases, virtualization, and network infrastructure)
• Developing, adapting, and maintaining software-supported applications and interfaces for device and system connection
• Further developing and optimizing measurement systems as well as designing and implementing measurement and test processes
• Carrying out change processes on measurement and system technology, including technical documentation
• Independent analysis and rectification of complex faults in hardware and software components
• Calibrating, supervising, and maintaining sensors and measuring instruments
• Providing technical support to test bench technology and operations teams for technical questions
• Participating in the selection, integration, and commissioning of new systems, plants, and components
• Ensuring standard-compliant and safety-compliant design, implementation, and documentation of the managed systems

Boarding / Your Profile

• Successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or completed vocational training in the field of electronics, mechatronics, or comparable, ideally with further training as a technician or master, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience (at least four years) in the field of measurement, system technology, or test bench/plant IT
• In-depth knowledge of measurement and data acquisition systems
• Good programming skills in C/C++ as well as ideally in other scripting or evaluation languages (e.g., VBA)
• Experience in the administration of Windows and Linux systems, databases, virtualization (e.g., VMware), and networks
• Basic knowledge of automation and control technology (e.g., PLC systems)
• Strong ability for structured analysis and resolution of technical faults
• Good English skills (at least B2 level)
• Willingness to acquire internal qualifications for the intended area of application
