• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as aircraft mechanic, tool mechanic, precision mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, machining mechanic, industrial mechanic) or in a comparable metalworking profession
• Further qualification as a quality or component inspector; certified quality officer is desirable
• Professional experience in the inspection/assessment of components is desirable
• High level of commitment and reliability as well as teamwork and communication skills
• Strong quality awareness as well as an independent, structured way of working
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Good MS-Office skills
• Basic knowledge of English
• Basic knowledge of SAP is desirable

Boarding / Your Tasks

• Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections on engine components, taking into account specific characteristics (e.g., technical instructions from the manufacturer, the operator, and aviation authorities)
• Selection and use of measuring equipment according to measuring equipment capability
• Assessing deviations and comparing permissible specifications with the respective engine documentation
• Determining necessary process steps for the engine components
• Recording inspection results and ordering spare parts using SAP
• Creating and evaluating corresponding technical documentation
• Carrying out defined minor repairs
